Anderson-Shea Post 2046 is one of the most active VFW's within the state of Connecticut. We have a Membershipof over 400, and an active and supportive Ladies Auxiliary. Our Post is also host to a Men's Auxiliary and the VFW Riders. We are active within the community and Veteran's Affairs within the State. Post 2046 is also home to a Past State Commander.

Our Post hosts many events through the year, we are opening our arms and hearts to our younger Veterans, without them the Veterans of Foreign Wars will cease to exist in the future. If you are a returning Veteran or a Veteran who has decided you've waited long enough, join a Post that recognizes that Veterans are the greatest people that our Country has to offer.

Our Post meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month, we have at least one function a month, a jukebox, big screen tv, pool table, dartboards, a large hall and camaraderie.

We are easily accessible from the major highways and are minutes from Buckland Hills Mall. Come Visit us and see why we say "This isn't your Grandfathers VFW!"
