FOR THE TROOPS
VFW Post 2046 along with the towns citizens through donations,send care packages to the troops.
We also collect money for Operation Uplink,
a calling card program sponsored by the VFW.
We have adopted a few units that are from the State of Connecticut, or have ties to
to our members.
Care packages are essential to the troops, they show the bond
that Veterans have for our service members. We have been there and realize
the signifigance of the packages to these young men and women who serve us today.
